Ground broken on $50 million Da Nang hotel project

Oriental Sea Villas and Hotel project promises to be the latest attractive destination in central city.

VinaCapital and the Oriental Sea Villas and Hotel Company Limited have held a breaking ground ceremony for the Oriental Sea Villas and Hotel project, which has an area of 11.51 ha and investment capital of $50 million.

Located in Da Nang's tourist area, with 400 meters of beachfront on Truong Sa Street, which connects Da Nang and Hoi An ancient town, the project will feature the 250-room Sheraton Da Nang Resort, offering guests world-class services.

It also comprises 45 luxury villas on areas ranging from 600 to 950 square meters, together with swimming pools, restaurants, bars, and clubs, and features the high quality services found at other resorts in Da Nang such as The Dunes golf course and The Ocean Villas, Norman Estates, and The Dune Residences.

Speaking at the breaking ground ceremony, Mr. Le Minh Phuc, General Director of VinaCapital Danang, said that, as a key project of the company, Oriental Sea Villas and Hotel promises to be a new attractive destination in Da Nang, creating jobs and contributing to the development of the city's tourism industry in particular and the local economy in general, with a long-term vision of helping it become an attractive tourist destination and one of the most livable cities in the region.

The project is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2018.
