New process aimed at speeding up issuance to investors.
The Hanoi People’s Committee has announced that investors must submit paperwork to the Hanoi Land Registration Office for the issuance of land use right (LUR) certificates within 30 days of project completion. The move falls under Decision No.94/2014 from the Hanoi People’s Committee on accelerating the process of issuing LUR certificates.
Upon receiving such paperwork the Land Registration Office must inspect the project to ensure it meets the conditions for being issued LUR certificates. Inspections must be done within 30 days.
After finishing the inspection, the Hanoi Land Registration Office will announce the results to investors. Projects that meet the conditions will be guided by the Land Registration Office in submitting a further application. Projects found to have violated the land law or the housing law will have their case submitted to the Hanoi People’s Committee.
Within 15 days of receiving notice regarding the inspection result the investor must complete and forward the application. The Land Registration Office then has 20 days to issue the LUR certificate to the investor.
