The Bamboo Capital Group’s Malibu Hoi An project picked up awards for “Best Beachfront Luxury Resort Villa Development” and “Best Luxury Condotel Architecture” at the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards 2019.

Held recently in Bangkok, the Awards are one of Southeast Asia’s very first people’s choice awards and were founded by the Dot Property Group. In this fourth holding, the best real estate investors, projects, and businesses supporting the industry were announced.

Over 40 development projects from Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and elsewhere registered for this year’s awards. The Evaluation Board spent a month determining the winners.

Overcoming many major names in the region, Malibu Hoi An won “Best Beachfront Luxury Resort Villa Development” and “Best Luxury Condotel Architecture”.

Projects had to meet strict reputational requirements, exhibit sustainable development capacity, be in a prime location, have distinctive design style, and have consumer interest in the area.

A representative from the Dot Property Southeast Asia Awards 2019 said the Evaluation Board was very much impressed with Malibu Hoi An because it not only satisfied the overall basic elements but also demonstrated a long-term vision for Vietnam’s central coastal property sector’s sustainable profitability.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Nam, Chairman of the Bamboo Capital Group, said that the awards are inspiration for its continued efforts to create quality projects and affirm its reputation. “This achievement helps businesses have confidence in our strategy to expand real estate investment, with a view to becoming a strong brand in the near future both domestically and regionally,” he said.

Construction of Malibu Hoi An began last year and over 80 per cent of villas and apartments have been completed. The project is located ten minutes from Hoi An ancient town and 30 minutes by car from Da Nang International Airport.

Malibu Hoi An is led by architect Reja Bakh and the BAKH Architecture team, a leading international architectural firm with ultra-modern minimalist forms.

Following the signing of a cooperation agreement with the US’s Radisson Hotel Group in August, part of the project was renamed Radisson Blu Hoi An and complied with world-class resort standards and business transparency. Following projects in Cam Ranh and Phu Quoc, this will be the largest resort managed by the Radisson Hotel Group in the Asia-Pacific.
