Project to include residential, trade, services and tourism areas.
Beginning construction on April 18, the Phan Thiet Urban Tourism Area will become a modern metropolitan sea tourism area once completed, creating a focal point for Phan Thiet city in south-central Binh Thuan province.
The residential project is combined with different types of trade, service and tourism areas, on 62.25 hectares. Its goal is to serve about 10,000 people, including 6,000 local residents and 4,000 visitors and tourists.
With the aim of building a modern urban area with a futuristic view, the Phan Thiet Urban Tourism Area has a sensible land use structure, with functions such as transport, green parks, and public land being prioritized.
It expects to resolve Phan Thiet city’s ongoing traffic problems, so focuses on building transport networks, with 19.7 hectares, or about 31.8 per cent the project's area, being set aside.
As a green urban tourism area, environmental protection has been paid a great deal of attention. The highlight of the project is its green parks, tree-lined streets, and green spaces in its luxury villas, of which the area for green parks totals 5.6 hectares.
Spatial planning and landscape architecture for the project are a harmonious combination of trade zones, services zones, and public function zones. These all have different types of magnificent buildings and luxury villas and townhouses, serving companies, residents, and the public.
On April 6 the Chairman of the Binh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee approved the detailed master plan for the project, which is invested by the Rang Dong Group with total investment of VND2.6 trillion ($120.432 million).
