Success of Desk in Hanoi prompts real estate consultants to provide similar service in southern city.
Savills Vietnam has official opened a specialized Japanese Desk in Ho Chi Minh City, following on from the establishment of a Japan Desk in Hanoi in October last year.
According to Mr. Neil MacGregor, Managing Director of Savills Vietnam, for many years Japanese corporates and investors have been expanding their presence in Vietnam. “Therefore, Savills Vietnam is delighted to further extend our international-standard services and deep local insight to our Japanese client base,” he said. “The establishment of our Japan Desk in Hanoi has been a huge success, with many satisfied clients and calls to expand such services to Ho Chi Minh City.”
The Japan Desk in Ho Chi Minh City will be overseen by Ms. Sachiyo Asakawa, who specializes in Tenant Representation.
Ms. Asakawa graduated from Rutgers University in New Jersey with a Master’s in City and Regional Planning. With over 12 years experience in the real estate market in both the US and Japan she has completed a large number of real estate transactions on behalf of global occupiers and owners.
2015 marks an important milestone for Savills in Vietnam, with the company celebrating 20 years of operations in the country by receiving its sixth consecutive Asia Pacific Award as Best Real Estate Agency in Vietnam and Best Property Consultancy in Vietnam.
