Vietnam International Fashion Week 2015 to be held in HCMC from October 14 to 18.
From October 14 to 18 Ho Chi Minh City will host the second Vietnam International Fashion Week, presenting seven acclaimed international designers alongside 12 leading Vietnamese designers in the country’s most important fashion event. Attended by a host of international celebrities, VIP guests, and global media, the event will consolidate Vietnam’s position on the world’s fashion stage.
Following the tremendous success of last year’s first Vietnam International Fashion Week, organizers FIDé Fashion Weeks and Multimedia JSC are delighted to join forces once again.
Vietnam’s fashion industry leader and founder of Multimedia JSC, Ms. Le Thi Quynh Trang, will again bring her expertise to Vietnam International Fashion Week 2015. With extensive experience, including Executive Producer of Project Runway Vietnam and Vietnam’s Next Top Model, she will oversee the line up of exceptional Vietnamese fashion talent.
Joining Multimedia JSC is FIDé Fashion Weeks, headed by founding Chairman Dr. Frank Cintamani, which has established a reputation as Asia’s leading fashion week organizer. Having already achieved a number of firsts in Singapore, including Men’s Fashion Week and Couture Week - the first men’s fashion week outside of Paris and Milan and the only Couture Week outside of Paris, it has also presented fashion weeks in Thailand and Australia.
“Vietnam International Fashion Week 2015 will once again be a unique showcase of the exceptional design talent that exists in Vietnam,” Ms. Trang told the media. “Since our first event last year the world has taken great interest in Vietnamese fashion creativity and I am delighted that we will be presenting world-class design talent on an international platform.” It is a tremendous opportunity, she said, to promote the unique artistry and workmanship of local designers.
“This year’s Vietnam International Fashion Week builds upon the success of last year’s in marking Vietnam’s position on the world stage of fashion,” Dr. Cintamani added. “The exceptional caliber of the international couturiers who will be attending this year is testament to the reputation of the occasion as a leading international fashion event.” He believes that their presence will serve as an inspiration for Vietnamese designers and help elevate the craftsmanship of couture and attention to detail that is inherent in this highest form of fashion.
