Food & Hotel Vietnam, the country’s leading international food and hospitality trade exhibition, is taking place from April 24 to 26 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event provides an opportunity for enterprises in the culinary and hospitality industry to introduce and update their products, especially in this era of technological innovation, as well as strengthen their networks.

This tenth edition is the largest so far. There are some 700 local and international exhibitors from 29 countries and territories participating, with 20 international group pavilions, including Ireland, Poland, Germany, South Korea, the US, Spain, Turkey, and China.

A wide range of food and beverage (F&B) products, dairy products, poultry, confectionery-making equipment, and equipment and services for the food and hospitality industry are being showcased.

The Vietnam Culinary Challenge will also take place within the event’s framework; a grand cooking competition that engages culinary enthusiasts to highlight their cooking talent and encourage their development. A total of 255 individual contestants along with three teams will compete in various challenges, such as Vietnam cuisine, hot cooking, pastry, and fruit and vegetable carving

There are also conferences and seminars on the opportunities and challenges involved in the emerging “Wellness Tourism” trend and optimizing hotel business performance in Industry 4.0.

In addition to displaying the latest products and services in the food and hotel sectors, exhibitors also offer workshops to enhance their interaction with visitors through the first-hand viewing of all new products and presentations to update new market trends from experts in F&B and the hospitality industry as well as useful methods of food preservation. The Barista & Coffee Experience Program, meanwhile, is designed for people new to coffee and cafés that want to begin their journey of learning about the industry and current trends.

Organized the first time in 2004, Food & Hotel Vietnam 2018 welcomed over 14,000 visitors.
