A celebration of Formula 1, one of the world’s top sporting events, will take place at Sala Apartment and Villa Residence in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City, on May 4.

Entitled “Perfect Experience with F1”, the event is expected to bring a lively atmosphere to Vietnamese fans, with the participation of former driver and Heineken F1 Ambassador David Coulthard and the famous Red Bull Racing Team. David had 13 grand prix wins and 62 podium places during his career, making him one of the best drivers of his time. He will talk about his experience with fans at the event.

With free entry, everyone in Ho Chi Minh City has the chance to admire the beautiful F1 cars of the Red Bull Racing Team and their breathtaking speed and turns and incredibly fast pit-stop techniques.

Together with beer and speed, music also adds to the atmosphere, presented by the world’s No 1 DJ, Martin Garrix, who topped the world rankings in 2016 and 2017. He will be accompanied by leading Vietnamese artists such as Tuan Hung, My Tam, Son Tung MTP, and Dong Nhi.

The event is also a part of Heineken’s long-standing commitment to responsible drinking. It will be used as a platform to raise awareness about “When You Drive, Never Drink”, in an ongoing campaign launched last September in ten countries, including Vietnam, and aimed to bringing about behavioral changes in drink-driving. “The ‘Perfect Experience with F1’ campaign is an important opportunity for us to contribute to consumers’ driving awareness and behavior after consuming alcohol,” said Mr. Leo Evers, Managing Director of Heineken Vietnam. “F1 has always focused on the message ‘Think before you drive’. We will continue to spread the message of ‘When You Drive, Never Drink’ at subsequent events in Vietnam. Heineken shook hands with Formula One Management (FOM) to become a Global Partner of Formula 1 in 2016, aiming its sponsorship at promoting its responsible drinking campaign.”
