Guests at the Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi have the opportunity to fulfill the dreams of many children in need until December 31. A “Wish Upon a Star” Christmas Tree has been set up in the hotel lobby, where guests are invited to buy a star for VND100,000 ($4.50) and make a difference.

“This is the second year the Hotel de l’Opera Hanoi has worked with the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation to raise funds to help street children and children who are victims of human trafficking to have the opportunity to go to school and return to a normal life,” General Manager Ms. Tracey Oliver told VET.

The hotel is offering special packages for year-end parties, including the Diamond Package, the Gold Package, the Silver Package, and the Bronze Package. With the Diamond Package, the organizer will receive a voucher for a one-night stay in a l’Opera Suite, including breakfast for two, when booking an event for 50 guests or more. For an event of 30 to 49 guests, the Gold Package offers the organizer a voucher for a three-course set dinner for two at Café Lautrec with free flow wine. The Silver Package provides a voucher for a buffet lunch for two, including one soft drink each, for bookings of an event for 20-29 guests. For events from 10-19 guests, the organizer will be offered the Bronze Package and receive a voucher of VND500,000 ($22) for food or beverages at any of the hotel’s outlets.

“This festive season is quite favorable for us, with an occupancy of nearly 80 per cent, while our banquet halls and restaurants are also very busy with family parties, weddings, and year-end company parties,” Ms. Oliver said. “We have also received many requests to organize glamorous parties at embassies or high-end companies, so next year we intend to develop this segment.”

Located in the center of Hanoi, the Hotel de l’Opera is close to the Hanoi Opera House, the Old Quarter, and Hoan Kiem Lake, and features the best of Hanoi - colonial accents, theatrical interior design, and contemporary space for entertaining. Its 105 rooms and suites are a sanctuary of comfort, with hand-picked luxurious amenities and 21st century technology. Its restaurants, a bar and complementary wi-fi combine to deliver memorable operatic moments.
