As part of continued efforts to raise funds under its corporate social responsibility (CSR) campaign entitled “The Creative Journey with Humpty Dumpty, Presented by Kingsmen”, to assist disadvantaged youth in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby areas, Kingsmen Vietnam, a communications design and production company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, recently held a charity auction during its 25th anniversary Gala Dinner in the city.

Guests at the Gala Dinner were invited to bid for ten localized Humpty Dumpty statues, including the Humpty Dumpty Design Contest’s five winning designs from disadvantaged youth and five exclusive designs by the campaign’s mentor artists.

A series of other public fund raising activities were held previously under the campaign, including a charity walk and a pop-up store roadshow to reach the goal of raising more than $22,000 for less-fortunate youth.

All funds raised from the campaign will be distributed to five social centers and orphanages - Thu Duc Youth Village, Linh Xuan HIV/AIDS Care and Support Center, SOS Children’s Village Ho Chi Minh City, the Vocational Education Center for Youth in Ho Chi Minh City, and the Centre for Social Protection of Children - “N” Centre, in southern Ba Ria Vung Tau province before the 2018 Tet holiday. The donation is expected to help facilitate extra-curriculum activities such as painting, design courses, and sports events, promoting healthy and balanced individual growth among disadvantaged youth.

The campaign is endorsed by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and the city’s Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA) and has received tremendous support and active participation from Kingsmen Vietnam’s corporate partners and friends, including Saigon Centre, Crescent Mall, SC VivoCity, ECMEC, Forte15, tiNiWorld, House of Chay, Red Carpet Production House, Gyu Shige, Hokkaido Sachi Sushi, Prime Law LLC, 100 Plus, Freshshop.vn, and Lefarm.

Kingsmen Vietnam is a member of the Kingsmen Group, one of the leading communications design and production groups in Southeast Asia. Established in 1992, Kingsmen Vietnam’s operations are headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City. It now has a second office in Hanoi and operates in Vietnam’s 64 cities and provinces as well as the Indochina region.

The CSR campaign is part of a series of celebratory activities to mark Kingsmen Vietnam’s 25th anniversary. Through public activities from September to December, including the design contest, the charity walk, the pop-up store roadshow, and the charity auction, the campaign aims at raising funds to benefit disadvantaged youth from selected social centers and orphanages in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby areas, to create and facilitate activities to nurture their creativity in promoting healthy and balanced individual growth.
