September 18 adjustments due to movements in global prices.
Retail petrol prices rose at 3pm on September 18 under a decision from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The price of RON 92 and E5 both increased VND612 ($0.03) per liter, bringing the former to VND17,950 ($0.8) and the latter to VND17,455 ($0.78).
Diesel 0.05S, meanwhile, increased VND576 ($0.03) per liter, to VND13,886 ($0.62), while Mazut rose VND297 ($0.01) per kg, to VND9,648 ($0.43).
According to MoIT, the price of oil products in international markets has been heading upwards recently and this is behind the September 18 adjustments. The average price of RON 92 from September 3 to September 17 was $61,334 per barrel, the average diesel price $59,809 per barrel, the average kerosene $59.205 per barrel, and the average Mazut 180CST price $240.047 per ton.
