Prices rise by negligible amount from 5pm on April 5.
Retail petrol prices increased from 5pm on April 5 under a decision from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The price of RON 92 and the E5 ceiling price increased VND518 ($0.02) per liter and VND551 ($0.02) per liter, respectively, bringing the RON 92 price to VND14,940 ($0.67) and the E5 price to VND14,442 ($0.65).
Diesel, kerosene and mazut stayed unchanged, at VND9,970 ($0.45), VND8,900 ($0.4) and VND7,225 ($0.32), respectively, per liter.
On March 21 the ministries permitted petroleum enterprises to adjust the retail price of RON 92 to VND14,420 ($0.65) and E5 bio-gas to VND13,890 ($0.62) per liter.
