Event showcasing Thai products from July 9 to 12 in HCMC.
Nearly 250 companies, including Thai manufacturers, suppliers, and exporters as well as Vietnamese importers, distributors, and agents have gathered at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Binh Exhibition & Convention Center to promote trade and investment during Thailand Week 2015 from July 9 to 12.
Visitors will find an extensive range of brands and high-quality Thai products in 300 booths, including consumer products (food, fruit, and beverages), cosmetics, spa, health and beauty care, auto parts, components and accessories, electrical and electronic products, and lifestyle products (furniture, gifts and decorative items, textiles and garments, shoes and leather, kitchen and table ware, and stationery and office equipment), together with services such as restaurants, education, and tourism.
A range of enjoyable activities will be held during the event, such as food demonstrations, fashion shows, and a lucky draw.
As a prelude to Thailand Week 2015, a Business Meeting and Matching session was held on July 8, where businesses from the two countries sought opportunities for cooperation.
Thailand Week, organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) and the Thai Trade Center is one of many collaborative efforts between Thailand and Vietnam to strengthen relationships, expand business markets, and promote trade and investment and business networks between the two countries.
