Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) has released information on “Toyota Junior Football 2019”, a training and skills program for students from nine to 12 years old.

With support from the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the program will run from June 22 to August 11, with selection days on June 22 at Gieng Day Stadium in northern Quang Ninh province and Thien Truong Stadium in northern Nam Dinh province, on June 29 at Go Dau Stadium in southern Binh Duong province, and on June 30 at Vinh Stadium in north-central Nghe An province.

The objective of the selection day is to choose the 30 best young footballers to attend a training camp in Hanoi. Students and parents can register online at TMV’s website or at TMV’s dealers and football clubs / schools / sports centers nationwide.

The Toyota Junior Football program was first initiated by Toyota Motor Asia Pacific (TMAP) in 2014 and TMV has been implementing it in Vietnam since 2015. The program’s purpose is to identify and train young football talent from nine to 12 years of age and nurture their passion and love for football. As well as being trained in football skills, students will also learn about persistence and teamwork and have the opportunity to explore their limits and challenge themselves to make their dreams come true.

With guidance from head coach Pham Nhu Thuan, a former national football player and former coach of the Quang Ninh Football Club, along with young footballers such as Nghiem Xuan Tu (Than Quang Ninh FC), Pham Xuan Manh (Song Lam Nghe An FC), Tran Manh Hung (Nam Dinh FC), and Nguyen Tien Linh (Becamex Binh Duong FC) on selection days, Toyota Junior Football 2019 promises to be a memorable experience for young football lovers.

TMV has been made great efforts to be “a good citizen in the local community” through many meaningful and sustainable community activities, focusing on Traffic Safety, Education - Training and Human Resources Development, Environmental Protection, and Culture - Society. Sport is one area that TMV focuses on, and the Toyota Junior Football program is one of its activities in this endeavor.
