Hanoi Software Technology Park to be built in capital's Long Bien district.
A concentrated information technology (IT) hub, called the Hanoi Software Technology Park, will be built in Phuc Loi ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi, with approval having come from the Prime Minister.
Invested by the Hanel Company Limited the park will enjoy a number of incentives as provided for in Government Decree No. 154/2013/ND-CP from November 2013.
The Decree stipulates that the State will help enterprises in concentrated IP parks to invest in technical infrastructure facilities such as roads, electricity, safe water, and water sewage treatment. Investors also receive support for site clearance and land leases.
Enterprises implementing new IT investment projects at parks are subject to a corporate income tax exemption for the first four years and a 50 per cent tax reduction for the following nine years.
Other incentives include State budget capital and Vietnam Development Bank loans to build infrastructure in line with the Prime Minister’s master plan on developing concentrated IT parks.
