June 25 forum in Hanoi will discuss a range of IT-related matters in the presence of dignitaries and noted experts.
The Vietnam ICT Summit 2015 will be organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Central Committee for Communications and Education on June 25 in Hanoi, focusing on information technology and smart management.
The forum will discuss trends and strategies and solutions in applying information technology (IT) in all aspects of life, especially areas of concern for the government such as healthcare, insurance, transport, urban areas, and IT human resources.
There will be four sessions at the forum: IT enhancing the ability and efficiency of government management and the public service; human resources development; IT improving the quality of healthcare; and IT developing smart transport and urban areas. Coordinators of the four sessions will include prestigious experts such as former Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, Dr. Mai Liem Truc, Chairman of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association, Associate Professor Truong Gia Binh, and Associate Professor and Dr Nguyen Ai Viet, Director of the Information Technology Institute at the Vietnam National University.
The event also expects the attendance of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and former Japanese President Yukio Hatoyama. Leaders of relevant agencies will also take part, such as information and communications, insurance, healthcare, education and training, and transport.
The forum also features other activities, such as an ICT Best Practice Expo and the ICT Golf Tournament.
